The tarm BLAZE is a white laser luminaire with exceptional brightness and densely saturated colors due to extremely efficient optics for optimized light output. Due to decades of laser optics research, the BLAZE has culminated with minimized optical loss, leading to an incredible 220‘000 lx @ 20 m, 0.7° and making the 100W laser light source significantly exceed the brightness of similar powered systems. Newly developed zoom features allow for the unit to control the deflection angle between 0.7° and 5°, which resembles in an almost parallel beam with extremely low divergence and, thus, great power visibility over long distances. The newly developed, advanced lens system shapes the beam to have amazingly sharp edges while maintaining a homogenous, pleasant illuminance distribution in the spot. The tarm BLAZE is equipped with a color wheel which includes 19 colors+white, 19 static and 6 Rotating gobos, bi-directional frost filter, one 24 prism and one 8 prism with bi-directional rotating speed to unleash your creativity.

What type of lighting fixture is the tarm BLAZE?
The tarm BLAZE is a beam moving light with extremely good visibility and efficiency. Due to the reduced number of lenses and optical elements, the light output is extreme. Although being a beam fixture, the tarm BLAZE has astonishing rotating glass effects gobos that can be stacked with the prisms and the rotating frost to create fantastic projection effects, too.
Is the tarm BLAZE a laser system or a conventional moving head?
The tarm BLAZE is a conventional moving head but has a laser as substitution for a conventional light source. This combines the advantages of a laser system – namely the extremely precise beam that is precise from its point of creation – with the advantages of a moving head, which results in an easy-to-use product with enormous light output and really low beam divergence (widening of the beam over distance).
Do I need special knowledge to use the tarm BLAZE?
No, you don’t. The tarm BLAZE works like a normal beam moving light (in fact, it has a lot of features and very versatile controllability). It is rated as a laser class 1, so any laser safety related context refers to the class 1 requirements. The lamp safety class is risk group 3, so you must consider the user manual to learn about safe handling and use of this product.
